About Alpacas d’Elegance

Alpacas d’Elegance was established to provide a concours-quality experience – from first contact to taking home your alpacas. We are committed to customer service and look forward to working with you through the alpaca experience.

Our goal is to breed fine, densely covered alpacas that have superb bloodlines and are commercially desirable and show ring capable: alpacas worthy of the name, D’Elegance. Our primary focus will be breeding Accoyo and Peruvian alpacas; however, other bloodlines may be introduced to add vigor and aid our efforts to achieve the ethereal Ideal Alpaca. Our ranch, though still under construction, is located in the lovely coastal town of Pescadero, CA, a small town nestled along the beautiful California coastline between Half Moon Bay and Santa Cruz. Pescadero was officially established in 1856 and soon became a popular resort area, especially among San Franciscans’. While no longer the resort destination it was, Pescadero is still rich in recreational activities: from redwood parks, beaches with elephant seal colonies, u-pick fruits and vegetables, bed-and-breakfasts aplenty, and some of the best bird watching on the pacific flyway.  It is, also, conveniently situated near 3 international airports and, of course, San Francisco is only a short drive away.

Though recreational opportunities abound, the mainstay of this fertile valley is agriculture. Visitors will see rows of vegetables and many-hued ribbons of color from the flower fields that supply local nurseries. Alpacas d’Elegance continues this long agricultural tradition by bringing the beauty of alpacas to Pescardero. Those who visit our ranch will not only have the opportunity to see animals with superior fiber and genetics; they will also be able to indulge in the resort-like atmosphere of the region.
